School Philosophy

The Motto of the school, “Prano Devi Saraswati” percolates the essence of learning derived from the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.  Attributes of simplicity and simultaneous empowerment are imbibed by the growing girls and boys. Incorporating skills and confidence into the curriculum, students are nurtured to believe in their inner powers and not let anyone destroy their sense of self. We at Queens, nurture our children to become sensitive human beings who are empathetic, responsible and are fortified to fulfil whatever roles they adopt in life as important contributing members of society.

History

Established in the year 1995, Queens College has become synonymous to quality education rising above only providing run of the mill schooling! Enabling a canvas of blending Indian traditions and modernisation the school  was envisioned by Mr. Ramesh Mulchandani to empower the young girls of tomorrow  to be self-reliant, confident and rule in their respective arenas as enigmatic, humble icons contributing with conviction and grace to society! Moving ahead with times and due to the demands of the existing parent community we have also started admitting boys since the last three years.

Values

Queens’ College believes in a set of CORE values guiding each member of the Queens’ family.

Vision

We strive to foster our young students towards becoming caring, accountable and self sufficient human beings with respect for all, without any gender bias. The dream to create future generations who can contribute to society as balanced individuals with global competence steers the operational vision of the school.

Mission

Our mission is to create a vibrant and friendly environment that promotes creativity, problem solving, logical thinking and self-reliance. We aim to nurture young minds to bloom by developing confidence, communication skills and sensitivity towards the environment with respect for each other without any acquired prejudices.

Emblem

Symbolic of our vision and mission the school emblem depicts an open book placed on the backdrop of the Indian sub-continent. The belief about Indian in values and global in outlook is captured in the insignia. The bright rays of the sun signify disseminating knowledge through openness and willingness to evolve continuously.  The encompassing leaves advocate nourishment in all spheres of life for the young children and our allegiance to conserve the environment. Striving to provide the right atmosphere for harmonious growth and development the motto,  ‘प्रणो देवीसरस्वती’ is an invocation to Devi Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning, to guide us at all times and awaken our inner wisdom towards this goal.

School Policy

Keeping with the vision, mission and values of the school, Queens’ College aims at creating a learner friendly environment where each student feels safe, valued and is motivated constantly towards building self-esteem.

Students are raised amidst the bounties of nature with lush green lawns and colourful flowers that surround them. They are groomed to respect nature and the Creator and preserve and conserve global heritage. Mutual regard and tolerance are values that stand woven into the school culture.

The school policy is ever evolving and progressive aiming at developing 21st Century skills. Creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration are integrated into the curriculum. We believe in creating leaders who are courageous and sensitive towards others as well as the environment. Online/blended learning with synchronous and asynchronous classes that have been the need of the hour, are also garnered towards this goal and we are continuously evolving in this process.
