The Motto of the school, “Prano Devi Saraswati” percolates the essence of learning derived from the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Attributes of simplicity and simultaneous empowerment are imbibed by the growing girls and boys. Incorporating skills and confidence into the curriculum, students are nurtured to believe in their inner powers and not let anyone destroy their sense of self. We at Queens, nurture our children to become sensitive human beings who are empathetic, responsible and are fortified to fulfil whatever roles they adopt in life as important contributing members of society.
A Home away from Home -Facility available for girls of class III onwards
Nurturing and grooming young girls away from home calls for thoughtful pastoral care in a school environment. The Queens’ College residential campus offers a protected housing for the age group of 8 to 18 years. (III to XII)
Stepping away from parents as primary care givers, we offer love, shelter, security, and life skills required to groom daughters with utmost affection and care.The on campus hostel is equipped with all modern amenities and is built to house 100 boarders in its dormitories. Motherly wardens take care of the day to day affairs. Designated and proficient hostel mentors plan for the growth and development of the girls including academics, health, fitness and recreation. They stay with them in the premises and are available at all times. The Principal and Members of the Management take particular interest to offer quality life to the boarders and make them feel completely at home.
The hostel has well-ventilated dormitories with the promise of a happy stay. Each hosteller is given a comfortable bed, an independent cupboard and a study table. The younger children are aided by female staff helpers affectionately called as Didis by the girls, to keep their things in place, tidy up, make their beds, get ready for school, games, meals or studies, and other daily chores. Washing and ironing facility is provided by the hostel for all.
After school study help as well as special coaching for competitive examinations like AIEEE/CPT/PMT amongst others is provided by experienced faculty for older students.
We ensure personalized counselling to help the children adjust to the demands of the school and hostel life and develop strong interpersonal relations.The desired blend of regular routine, comfort and individual attention brings about the muchwanted grooming and blossoming of these young girls into graceful young adults.
