Queens’ College organized ‘Talent Hunt – Toy designing’ competition on 7th April,2022 in the first and second period where the students of standard VI to VII got a platform to explore the stimulating and thought provoking event of toy making. The major attraction of this event was the use of eco-friendly, indigenous and non- hazardous waste materials by the students to make the toys of their dream. Mesmerizing toys made by our students based on Indian civilization, heritage, culture, mythology, history, ethos, technology, calculation, mathematics, ethnicity and national heritage were appreciated by all. The complex concepts of Mathematics and Science were explained with appreciable ease and confidence by our students using their toys. Puzzles and Jigsaw based on Social Science were highly applauded. This event led to the development of cognitive and psychomotor skills of our students. It focused on the concept of 3H – Head, Hand and Heart enabling our students to develop sustainable human behavior and also enhanced their oratory skills. Our students made it quite evident that they are trailblazers in making.
